Payment in full does not automatically transfer ownership of every tool, component, third-party asset, or pre-existing material used in a project.
Clients are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary rights to materials they provide to us.
5. Project Inquiries and Proposals
Submitting an inquiry through our website does not automatically create a client relationship, partnership, or binding service agreement.
Before work begins, the parties should agree in writing on relevant matters, which may include:
- Project scope and deliverables.
- Fees, payment milestones, and applicable taxes.
- Estimated timelines and client responsibilities.

- Intellectual property ownership and licensing.

We will not represent a payment as non-refundable where applicable law or the relevant agreement requires otherwise.
For services or digital products purchased directly through our website, any applicable pricing, delivery, cancellation, and refund terms should be disclosed before purchase.

- Clients remain responsible for evaluating the suitability of outputs for their business and intended use.
- Any use of personal, confidential, or proprietary information with third-party AI services should be governed by the applicable project agreement and privacy requirements.
Our technology services are not a substitute for qualified legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice where such advice is required.
9. Confidentiality
Where clients or Asaan Labs exchange confidential information during a project, both parties should handle that information responsibly and use it only for the agreed purposes.
Any specific confidentiality obligations, exclusions, permitted disclosures, and retention requirements will be governed by a separate confidentiality agreement or the applicable project agreement, where one exists.
Nothing in this section overrides an applicable legal obligation to disclose information.
10. Portfolio and Publicity
Asaan Labs may wish to showcase completed projects, designs, or case studies as examples of its work.
We will respect any applicable confidentiality obligations and project-specific restrictions. We will obtain the necessary permission before publicly disclosing confidential client information or showcasing work where permission is required.
